OPEN GARDEN TOUR

The 2008 Open Garden Tour Program, sponsored by the Horticultural Sub-Commission of the Columbus Recreation & Parks Department announces the first series of gardens open to the public this season.  The following gardens will be open free of charge on Sunday, April 20 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. 

 

210 N Delta Drive, Clintonville (Mr. & Mrs. Cleek)

A woodland garden with daffodils, lilies, hostas, and other perennials.  Redbud trees, arbors and a fountain grace this property.  (Near Whetstone Park - From N High St, turn west on Amazon Pl, continuing to the bottom of the hill where it turns into Delta Dr)

 

1590 Barrington Rd, Upper Arlington (Mr. Hickey)

Collections of magnolias, including many yellow flowering varieties, Japanese Maples and unusual conifers will be shown.  Daffodils and hyacinths are also planted.

(Located 8 blocks south of Lane Ave, west between North Star & Northwest Blvd)
